Accessing the ICD-10 Code Browser via Encounters

 

If you have familiarized yourself with the rest of this document you have already discovered that there are multiple ways and locations to open and use the ICD-10 Browser from within MedLedger. Using the ICD-10 Code Browser through the Encounters screen is a new addition which will likely be the most commonly-used and useful way it will be used.

*NOTE: All diagnosis codes that are submitted for dates of service October 1, 2015 or later MUST use ICD-10 codes in submitted claims. Also, any and all claims submitted for dates of service before October 1 MUST use ICD-9 codes. If an encounter dates span over the changeover date, there MUST be a separate claim created for the dates prior to October 1 and a second claim made for any dates after October 1...
