Daniel M. Brody
President, Chief Executive Officer

Daniel Brody is the Founder and President/CEO of Health Data Services. As CEO, Mr. Brody is responsible for the development of corporate strategy, marketing, and hiring of salaried personnel. Previous to founding Health Data Services in 1988, Mr. Brody was employed by Federated Department Stores and Brody Brothers, Inc. Mr. Brody also was a member of the faculty of Indiana University (PA) where he taught marketing for seven years. Among other professional experiences, Mr. Brody consulted for Unisys Corporation; served for many years on the Board and as a member of the Executive Committee of Insmed, Inc., a publicly traded biotech company; and served as a member of the Board of the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance (Virginia Medicaid) from 1994 through 2002 and was Chairman of that Board from 1996 to 2000. Mr. Brody is also a member of the University of Virginia's 2020 Strategic Planning Committee. Mr. Brody is a 1973 graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in Economics. In 1975, Mr. Brody earned a Masters degree in Business Administration from New York University.


Jeff Moyers
Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Moyers is in charge of product design and development, as well as all technology issues that impact the company. Mr. Moyers is the co-designer of Medical Assistance Professional and the designer of MedLedger™. Mr. Moyers and Mr. Brody have worked together for over thirteen years. Some of Mr. Moyers other experience include projects for the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Defense, and Computer Technologies for Aviation. Mr. Moyers attended James Madison University.


David W. Pedrick
Director, Billing Services

David Pedrick established and manages HDS practice management billing services, which vary from contracts for specific projects to full management services. Immediately prior to joining HDS in 1997, Mr. Pedrick was Chief Executive Officer of Charter Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. Mr. Pedrick also served as Director of Cardiovascular Services at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Mr. Pedrick attended the University of Virginia and holds a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration from the Medical College of Virginia.
