The MedLedger™ multi-level Help System was thoughtfully designed to provide the necessary learning tools that helps users help themselves. Read about the different levels of MedLedger's Help System below.

MedLedger™ Help

1. QuickStart
QuickStart is a 'shoestring' tutorial designed to get your staff up and running with MedLedger™ quickly, covering the basics like patient registration, account setup, completing an encounter and posting a payment. QuickStart instruction can be completed within a few hours — ideal for a new staff member until time allows for more thorough training.

2. Help
Help provides thorough reference while working in MedLedger™, containing hundreds of "how-to's" complete with informative illustrations. There is a Help topic for every MedLedger operation or procedure. Most of MedLedger Help is topic-sensitive, i.e., Help opens to the same topic as the area of MedLedger™ that you are working in! With topic-sensitive help, no keyword search is required — just press the F1 key and the answer is on your screen!

3. Click-It Help
Every MedLedger™ object and control — tools, buttons, fields, etc. — may be identifyed with Click-It Help. Click-It Help not only tells you what the object is, but provides a description of what it does or how it is used.

4. Videohelp
The final phase of the MedLedger Help System will be Videohelp which is not yet completed. Videohelp will be the next-best thing to having your own personal teacher sitting right next to you, providing step-by-step instruction of how to perform MedLedger™ procedures! Desktop videos of many procedures capture every mouse click and every keystroke for the most comprehensive instruction available short of actual human interaction.
